REST IN PIECES
Sadly try as we might, our members cannot save everything! Most of any finds that come up nowadays go onto Ebay so these old hearses are then available for an open hunting season and that means one thing; restorers and racers!
On this page you will see a small selection of hearses & limos sitting in fields or gardens and just rotting away, having turned their own final wheel. Due to their complexity, a hearse can take a considerable amount of time & money to restore and in most cases they just are not worth it, after all, who wants an old hearse? NUTTY PEOPLE LIKE US OF COURSE :)

After a hearse or limo has finished its duty, generally 3 things happen. Firstly they go into an enthusiasts hands for restoration or as a source of spares, as can be seen in the members section.
Secondly they are left to rot until they either fall apart or they get passed from pillar to post.

Ultimately some end up on the banger track like the Humber above (which was found in a field and sinking into the mud) and lastly, those that do survive the wrath of the racers but are not really wanted by the restorers end up getting modified or used as an advertising tool as our custom page shows.
